Curing: The resin is cured or hardened using ultraviolet (UV) light. This process solidifies the resin and ensures it forms a strong bond with the surrounding glass.

Smoothing and Polishing: After the resin has cured, the excess resin is trimmed and the repaired area is smoothed down to be level with the rest of the glass surface. A polishing process may follow to restore clarity and visibility.

Final Inspection: The technician inspects the repaired area to ensure the damage is fully addressed and the repair meets safety standards. They also check for any remaining imperfections or air bubbles.

Auto glass repair is typically recommended for minor damage that meets certain criteria, such as small chips (usually less than the size of a quarter) and short cracks (usually less than 12 inches in length).
